[Thinking] Instant Controversy.

I don't usually like a controversy. It maybe same with why I don't like to do freestyle rapping. Nowadays, people tend to argue instantly. In special, instant controversy usually happens on line and drinking place. In such controversy, they seems to show off their improvised talking skills. Is there some thoughtful things?

Is it enjoyment? Next day, people stop it with just a reason, "I don't wanna think about it anymore". There are some more excuses such as "for maintaining freindship or relationship", "nothing left to say about it". Are they able to say all their arguements in instant 1hour? Then I have to definite it as enjoyment, even if they were really serious last night...

Improvisation... In early days, the concept of freestyle rapping in hiphop was based on improvised lylics when they got inspiration. They wrote down their inspirations on paper and rapped it on stage. Nowadays... hiphop mind was spoilt. People likely to see someone on a stage freestyle rap similar quality of recorded rapping. Even they moved it to battle format! Much before, some genius musician like Beethoven or Chopin imporvised in some non-official place.
But, how can freestyle rapper argue and twist others with non thoughtful thinking? So how can masses assnt resistancy spilit of hip-hop, if there's only unbounded voice? Plus, Yo-Yo Ma has seldom improvised in public on his cello.

Back to the controversy... The most important thing in controversy is to learn more and develop ourselves not to defeat other. I'm not talking about academic controversy. One more suggestion is.. you should rather be stubborn than make peace. Instant peacemaking after instant controversy is desecration of the the controversy. We are not genius, also we don't know about all elements which can be issue on unpredictable controversy. Why u guys never bend ur neck to other's opinion?

...To such crap keyboard worriers and drunken debaters.

Are they improvisers? Their controversy is thoughfully written and
revised before showing... But audiences simply accept their arguements as improvising and practice it in real life.

[Music] Nikolai Kapustin - Classical? or Jazz?

Here, I wish to present Nikolai Kapustin, my most respected musician.


He was born in Ukraine, in 1937, and graduated from Moscow Conservatory in1961. His musical training was classical, with a good exposure to the Russianvirtuoso piano repertoire. During his teen years, Jazz became a big influence,and has remained so throughout his career. From the late 1950s he immersedhimself in the Russian jazz world, Later,he toured with the Oleg Lundstrem JazzOrchestra throughout the Soviet Union. He still lives in reclusivedomesticity in Moscow with his wife, devoting his time to composition andrecording. The music of Nikolai Kapustin has made a minor flurry in theclassical music world in recent years, largely through the Hyperion CD ofhis piano music by Steven Osborne issued in 2000, and through the championing ofhis music by pianists Marc-André Hamelin and Nikolai Petrov. N. Kapustin - Toccatina Op36

His the most characteristic is based on his style. Jazz? or Classical?. Very crossover. People usually listen his music as Jazz and his music is what only jazz pianism can. But the classical musician hears only the wealth of jazz idioms. In fact, his work had written down in all subtlety and rhythmic idioms. Perhaps it was sufficient reason to dissociate Kapustin from the mainstream of both side. However, his music be composed by the experience of jazz performing and improvising, and at the same time by a solid classical training. Eventually, 1990's he rose a step in a person s opinion with Osborne and Hamelin's playings.

In three playing (by
Kapustin, Osborn, Hamelin) I've listened, I prefer Hamelin's playing. His works
are so gorgerous! more soft and elegant compare with Kapustin's play. That's
just like him (Hamelin) a.k.a super virtouso in recent classic forum.

[Thinking] Dream and Chance

Nowadays, I am so stressful coz of cares about my dream.. what I gonna do for a living?
Well... I like a film and wanna be a film director in the future. It may be the reason I am studying this hard course. I have tried to abandon it so many times but a reality of life doesn't let me do. It's so ironic that even though I decided to study it in my choice, I can't stop it.

Dream or Reality of life? Which U wanna put on above?

My parents' expactations and pushes at me, the society which don't allow success without an academic degree and my dream which is too nice to give up.

When I was young, my dream was an artist. Any artist whatever, musician, film director or some celebrity. Such temparature make me a talented person in many ways, though I say it which shouldn't. In my life, I have tried to achive my some dreams, but I had to give up with 2% lack of talents. In middle school, I gave up piano because I couldn't get into art school. After that I gave up playing soccer because of parents' other expactation let me study. I was keen on HipHop and rapping but I found I don't have really good rap skills after 10 monthes my life in HipHop club.

All being artists or players requires outstanding talents and education from when they were in egg. But film or some media artists is different. Getting chance is more important than having skills. In film or media area, a lot of talented people blame someone who are on mainstream but have a lack of talent. Joel Schumacher's movies are always crap! but he is still making film in Hollywood. I also don't like him but I am not be cynical to him. At least he got the chance to move on mainstream and he did it!

Actually I am not really sure about my potential to achieve my dream but in media area, I can wish to get some chances which may come to me luckily!

If u blame me like "You are a person who wish mere chance", I can't refute you completely but...

A leaf has fallen.

I picked it up.

The leaf whispered.

"put me down before I get angry ok?"

I left the leaf on the floor

leaf whispered to me agian..

"scared? you chicken?"

It was weird.. I looked up at the sky

The sky whispered to me..

"where the hell you looking at? look down punk!"

I got pissed off,so I kicked that leaf

A scream rises and it said

"you've got the wrong leaf"

"My apologies" I said to the leaf

And I turned around to my way, a leaf said

"Oh such a innocent kid eh?"
